This review article explores the role of AI in Smart Cities, highlighting its transformative impact on various urban sectors such as transportation, energy management, healthcare, public safety, and waste management. The paper also examines the opportunities AI presents in optimizing resource use, enhancing public services, and improving environmental sustainability.
