Abstract

In this research paper, a minkowski fractal geometry has been developed on the straight sides of pentagon. The antenna has been designed for 2 different substrate materials FR4 with 4.4 dielectric constant and PVC(Polyvinyl chloride) with 4.0 dielectric constant. The pentagonal patch antenna with minkowski fractal structure with FR4 substrate with size 66 x 70 x 1.6 mm3 is designed which radiates for 1.7 GHz, 2.74 GHz & 3.259 GHz frequencies and PVC substrate with size 66 x 60 x 3 mm3 is designed which radiates for 3.37 GHz, 6.73 GHz, 9.64 GHz & 11.06 GHz frequencies. The minkowski fractal structure with line feed technique has been designed and simulated up to 1st iteration in CAD FEKO software.
