The rapid rise of digital technologies has significantly increased daily screen exposure across all age groups. While screens play a vital role in education, work, and social connectivity, excessive screen time has raised concerns about its impact on mental health. This study explores the relationship between prolonged screen use and psychological outcomes such as stress, anxiety, depression, and reduced attention span. The paper reviews existing literature, analyzes primary data from targeted groups, and highlights both the positive and negative dimensions of screen engagement. Findings indicate that excessive screen time is strongly associated with sleep disturbances, emotional imbalance, and social isolation, whereas moderate, purposeful use can enhance learning and communication. The study emphasizes the need for awareness, healthy digital habits, and preventive interventions to reduce mental health risks. Recommendations are provided for students, parents, and professionals to balance digital consumption with overall well being.
