Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) has transformed patient management, diagnostics, and healthcare delivery in the paramedical sciences. Here, the ability of computer systems to carry out tasks that would typically need human levels of intelligence is known as artificial intelligence (AI). Future civilisation will be impacted by AI developments in almost every area, including the job market, national security, education, healthcare, and transportation. However, industrial engineering (IE) principles are also used to improve the use of AI in healthcare. These principles include systems engineering, which aids in the effective design and coordination of complex medical systems; process efficiency, which focuses on finding ways to make medical operations faster and more efficient; and optimisation techniques, which are essential for ensuring that resources are used as efficiently as possible to achieve the best patient outcomes. The use of AI in paramedical sciences, such as laboratory diagnoses, emergency response, patient monitoring, and medical imaging, is examined in this study. Additionally, this paper examines how industrial engineering methodologies facilitate the seamless integration of AI-driven solutions, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency. The study explores the integration of AI-driven solutions in industrial engineering methodologies, highlighting their potential for scalability, cost-effectiveness, and operational efficiency in paramedical services. The study highlights interdisciplinary synergies, challenges, and future directions for AI and IE in transforming paramedical services.
