Abstract

The world economy has been completely transformed by the explosive growth of e-commerce, which gives businesses access to new markets and consumers unmatched convenience. However, the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of online transactions are now at risk due to a variety of cybersecurity threats brought about by this digital transformation. The main cybersecurity risks to e-commerce are examined in this study, including malware, phishing scams, data breaches, and payment fraud. To lessen these risks, it also looks at industry rules, best practices, and preventative measures. The study ends with suggestions for improving cybersecurity frameworks in the e-commerce industry.
