<p>Wireless sensor networks (WSNs) are energy-efficient systems vital for diverse applications, from industrial monitoring to extensive environmental surveillance. A critical concern in WSNs is the energy consumption of nodes, which determines the network’s longevity, especially in challenging environments where battery replacement or charging is difficult. This paper offers an in-depth examination of energy conservation techniques in WSNs, categorizing them into five key areas: data reduction, control reduction, energy- efficient routing, duty cycling, and topology control. Additionally, we discuss recent advancements in energy harvesting and sensing strategies. By identifying the chief causes of energy wastage and presenting numerous solutions, this review aims to be a cornerstone reference for stakeholders in WSN energy conservation and those keen on understanding the sector’s latest developments.</p>Harpreet Singh Dhanoa

<p>Regression testing, an inevitable and costly operation often conducted under time and resource constraints, demands efficiency in reducing testing time by minimizing necessary test cases. This article explores strategies for optimizing test cases to achieve optimal fault coverage, comparing and contrasting various approaches. The discussion encompasses a range of accessible optimization strategies, providing insights into their methodologies, applications, evolution, and performance. Recent advancements in optimization techniques, such as the Genetic Algorithm, Ant Colony Method, Honey Bee Algorithm, and Particle Swarm Intelligence Optimization, are also reviewed, offering a comprehensive overview of contemporary practices in this field. Without taking into account specific situations such as convex problems, multi-objective optimization issues, linear programming, multidisciplinary optimization problems, etc., the review maintains its generic nature. <p>This article looks at using watermarking methods in medical images to make them safer and easier to manage. The idea is to protect trustworthiness, honesty, and safe sharing of health records. This paper looks at cases where watermarking has been used well in healthcare systems. Experts stress the main worry of keeping medical records accurate. Watermarking of medical images is an effective way to keep important health data safe and helpful for checking diseases and referencing information in the healthcare system. It explains current health image marking methods, focusing on the Region of Non-Interest (RONI) while keeping the key area safe. As nanoscience and nanotechnology progress, their use in medicine gets more common. Nano technology medical imaging gear gives clear and correct images of people's organs. This is key for finding out what is wrong in medicine. In today's world medicine and changing computers, scientists look at what is inside living things to find illness early and make science-based treatments. Medical images used in research often need to be shared or sent online for many uses like remote care. Telemedicine uses phone and computer science to give healthcare from far away, especially in places that do not have quick medical help. Telemedicine systems often use parts of images called regions of interest (ROI) and areas that are not important (RONI). The ROI is needed for doctors to make decisions about a patient's health. <p>A robust backup system is essential for preserving critical files against unforeseen events. Data security is also crucial for protecting confidential information. Therefore, backup systems must prioritize security measures. Encryption is a popular method for ensuring data confidentiality. This paper presents new computer software that allows users to store and retrieve encrypted image backups in a secure and user-friendly way. People can easily put their pictures into the system and take them out whenever they want. They can also see small preview pictures of the ones they uploaded. When someone adds a picture, the system makes it all secret using a special method called the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES). This secret picture is kept safe in the system's storage. <p>Automatic Vehicle License Plate Recognition (AVNPR) involves extracting vehicle license plate information from an image or sequence of images. In recent years, AVNPR has become a challenging and interesting research area. AVNPR systems cover a wide range of applications. Many practical applications such as electronic non-stop toll collection, automatic parking management, access control, radar speed measurement, border defense, law enforcement, and traffic police have benefited from it. There are many commercial AVNPR systems currently available, but there are many challenges and issues in accurately identifying license plates. In India, license plate standards are rarely implemented. There are many problems with license plate recognition, such as unnecessary text, different font sizes and fonts, blurring, distortion, environmental factors, etc. Changes in license plate type or environment bring challenges to license plate recognition. The main goal of this work is to develop a robust, accurate, and reliable automatic license plate recognition system and also to find the authonicity of vehcale from the site. https://parivahan.gov.in and RTO vehicle information app. This research article is performed in four parts: In the first part, the input image is preprocessed. The second stage, extract character area, recognition of extracted characters is performed in the third phase, in forth phase we extracted the owner's name along with the RC details.
