Abstract

Comprehension of biological networks and their comparison is one of the key issues in computational biology. It is essential to find out the differences in the characteristics and topological structures of biological networks between affected and healthy tissues to understand any diseases better. Data concerning interactions occurring within a cell can be found in biological networks. All the biological networks are dependent with one another inside the cell and form a network of networks determining the cell’s overall behavior. I have identified the deviating gene(s) in my study using a variety of network parameters such as degree, degree distribution, rewiring edges, average path length, clustering co-efficient, scale free networks and power distribution. R programming language was utilized to do the experimental analysis.
