Tape-Recorded Conversation is a valid Evidence or not?
Abstract
Electronic media is utilised by people all over the world with the latest versions and updated technologies, which is why the admissibility of evidence is determined by the type and evidential value of such tape recorded conversations. Although the tape-recorded conversation is now deemed an evidentiary document as a result of the Indian technology act of 2000 and an amendment to the Evidence Act of 1872, its admission is still an issue of evidentiary value. Prior to 2000, the court only reviewed oral or written documents, judges were overburdened with outstanding cases and the relationship between them.
