Abstract

The actual wealth of our nation and the source of power for Punjab are non-resident Indians. Since independence, there has been a notable increase in the number of Punjabis who have emigrated to other nations in quest of better jobs. This has a significant impact on Punjab's society and economy. Remittances from Punjabis who are not residents of the state are correlated with the state's economic growth. The amount of cash remittances sent to Punjab households from overseas has decreased over the last several years of the twenty-first century. This descriptive study aims to investigate "NRIs' investment behaviour in particular districts of Punjab State, India." A structured questionnaire is created to analyse the factors that influence NRI investors' decisions about the various investment opportunities offered by Punjabi banks. The factor analysis method is utilized to identify the variables that significantly influence NRIs' decisions on the range of investment possibilities offered by Punjabi banks. 408 NRI respondents from chosen districts who completed the questionnaire had their answers gathered and analysed to determine the key variables (determinants) influencing their investment choices.
