Abstract

In the information era, enormous amounts of data have become available decision decision-makers. Big Data refers to datasets that are not only big but also high in variety and velocity, which makes them difficult to handle using traditional tools and techniques. These massive quantities of data, known, have many benefits and applications for researchers. As Big Data is high in variety, datasets are difficult to handle using traditional tools & techniques. Due to these issues, solutions need to be provided to handle and extract knowledge from these datasets. The decision-makers need to be able to gain valuable insights from such varied and rapidly changing data, ranging from daily transactions to customer interactions and social network data. Those values can be fetched using Big Data Analysis. This paper aims to summarize some of the different analytical methods and tools that can be applied to Big Data.
