A study on IoT Architecture Empowered by Network function virtualization for an Operating Room Environment
Abstract
The interconnection of billions of smart devices is called IOTs. The progressively growing number of IoT devices with varied appearances necessitates that future networks development to offer a new architecture to handle with the expected increase in data generation. Network Function Virtualization (NFV) delivers the scale and litheness essential for IoT services by permitting the automated control, management and orchestration of network resources. This system grants a novel NFV enabled IoT architecture targeted for a state-of-the art operating room atmosphere.
This arrangement practices web services founded on the figurative state transfer (REST) web architecture as the IoT application’s southbound interface and demonstrate its applicability via two diverse scenarios. As scheme contribution to an increasing diffusion of heterogeneous sensor networks organized all over urban areas, one of the foremost apprehensions is to offer the community with multipurpose and easy-to go frameworks accomplished to aid and to establish data composed by these sensors.
