A quantified Engineering Analysis for Establishing a New Industry in Developing Nations: A case Study of Petroleum Refin-ing Plant in Nigeria
Abstract
The paper developed a systematic approach for the planning of technical skill expansion for establishing new industries using the Crude oil refinery industry as a case study
The study dwelt more on the problem of producing technical personnel required for establishing new industries more especially an engineering analysis for generating the skills required for a new project. The training planning model developed here deals with the problem of how to produce new skills so that they are available as needed during the process of setting up new industries.
Many industrial projects in developing nations are now faced with challenges for lack of trained technical personnel. The analytical method developed here, will also estimate the availability of skills required for setting up a new industry.
