Smart Irrigation System
Abstract
The population of India is increases rapidly. So for control the hungriness
of the country, more yields from agriculture is necessary. For this
precession agriculture is the solution. In traditional agriculture, daily
operations like watering and providing fertilizer etc. are the most
intensive task. No matter whichever weather it is, either too hot and
dry or too cloudy or wet, farmer has to be able to control the amount
of water that reaches to plants. But this manual process of watering
requires two important aspects that are: controlling the time of supply
and quantity of water to be provides. Modern watering systems could
be effectively used to water to plants when they need it. There are a
various type of automatic watering system that is by using sprinkler,
tube, nozzles and other components. This project uses watering by
using automatic sprinkler system for watering the plants located in
the plots and generate the data according to that which is provides to
cloud system. In this project we uses Arduino UNO and other electronic
equipment in order to behave like smart switching controlling parameter
which senses soil moisture level, temperature and humidity which needs
to control the growth of seed or plant efficiently.
