Abstract

The convergence of nanotechnology with medical textiles has ushered in a new era of healthcare innovation, offering unparalleled possibilities for enhanced functionalities and patient care. However, this transformative potential comes with significant sustainability challenges that demand meticulous attention across the supply chain. The integration of nanomaterials into medical textiles has not only revolutionized healthcare but also raised critical questions regarding sustainability and responsible practices throughout their lifecycle.  This review navigates the landscape of sustainable nanomaterials in medical textiles, investigating their applications, benefits, challenges, and the imperative need for a sustainable supply chain and logistics framework.
