Abstract

The Internet of Things (IoT) is rapidly transforming the landscape of mobile networks by connecting billions of devices and enabling seamless data exchange across various sectors, from healthcare to manufacturing. As IoT continues to expand, it is driving the demand for advanced mobile networks capable of supporting the massive scale and diverse requirements of interconnected devices. The transition to 5G and the eventual introduction of 6G technologies presents a unique opportunity to revolutionize mobile connectivity, offering low latency, high capacity, and enhanced reliability essential for IoT applications. However, integrating IoT with mobile networks introduces significant challenges, including scalability, security, and interoperability. This article explores the pivotal role of IoT in shaping future mobile networks, examining the opportunities it presents for innovation in smart cities, industrial automation, and consumer experiences, as well as the technical and regulatory hurdles that must be addressed. As mobile networks evolve to accommodate the growing IoT ecosystem, they will unlock new possibilities for real-time communication, data analytics, and intelligent automation, shaping the future of a hyper-connected world.
