Application of Laplace Transform for Consecutive First Order Chemical Reaction

Abstract

This paper presents an efficient approach to solving consecutive, first-order chemical reactions using the Laplace transform. The authors first model the reaction kinetics using ordinary differential equations and then apply the transform to streamline the mathematical analysis. Ultimately, the paper demonstrates that the Laplace transform simplifies the entire process-delivering exact, closed-form solutions without the burden of complicated calculations.
